How to check and solve iPhone 6S No Backlight ?

Aiming to share a experience about phone repair skill. Most of the iPhone backlight fault was caused by the PP_LCM_CAT1 and PP_LCM_BL_CAT2, one of them happens failure, it will cause the backlight fault.

Today we will share a easy way for checking the fault, disassemble the battery and reconnect it again, then check whether there exist a immediately flash on the iPhone 6S screen center. If you saw it ,there must exist some fault in these chips.
Why does the backlight blow so often? Well, the short story is that the screen is supplied a constant power even when it’s off because the touch IC chip is built directly onto the screen.  Watch the video for more details:
On the iPhone 6 and 6+ and prior series iphones, when the screen is off, there is no power going to the screen.  For the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, the power is constant, regardless of whether the screen is on or off.
To fix the problem, the backlight filter needs to be replaced.  This is the main power line that handles the 3.8V power to the screen.
You’ll need either a hot air rework station or some precision tweezers.  I don’t think a regular soldering iron will be small enough to do the job.  Here’s a video of us repairing the burned out and broken filter:
